stone building in the top photo was the stables. It's also
pictured below in a 1980s photograph taken from the opposite
bank of Ten Mile Creek. A fire gutted the original structure,
and the roof and windows were rebuilt as seen below around
1945. |

Lake Wilder. The lake was formed by diverting water
from Ten Mile Creek. It provided boating in the summer and
ice-skating in the winter. In the background is Mount Helena
